Pure Color Love at Douro

Dinner was delicious, the wine was even better and the charming Douro river faced some unfair competition when the sky turned into a symphony of a thousand colors before nightfall. After that we played chess until sleepiness took over, although Pure Color Love lasted all night long …

There are only a few sensations in life as good as seeing the sky changing colors over the Douro river while drinking a glass of wine. And that’s why this was the place I picked to spend my birthday.

We got to Casa do Rio in Foz Côa, around 6:00 p.m., the thermometer said 42 °, yes 42° celsius! So we went to the pool to refresh ourselves and just an hour later we decided to switch it for a bath. To go to dinner I wore a long white tunic and my Pure Color Love lipstick, Blasé Buff, from Estée Lauder. The landscape and the temperature didn’t ask for more.
